The cooling/heating unit in the tent is intended to add a bit of relief from typical Florida weather. On average, you can expect that the unit will offer a 5-15 degree difference from the exterior temperature.
During the heat of the afternoons, the A/C has little impact on the interior temperature. In the evenings, the cooling ability can be as much as 20 degrees cooler. This difference is significant, but the system is not equivalent to central A/C.
All overnight guests MUST be registered with the State Park BEFORE sundown. Park gates close and lock at sundown, and only fully registered overnight campers are given the gate code. If for ANY reason, you might arrive to the park after sundown, you MUST call the Ranger Station BEFORE sundown on the day of your scheduled check-in to complete your registration over the phone. If you do not complete registration in advance, and you arrive after sundown, you will be locked out of the park, and not allowed access to your campsite until the following morning.
Upon arriving at Manatee Springs State Park, you must stop at the Ranger Station. Please inform the Ranger that you are registered to stay in a Glampsite. The Ranger will assist you in completing your registration as an overnight guest, and provide instructions on getting to your campsite.
The Glampsites are located in the Hickory Loop of the Family Campground at Manatee Springs State Park.

The Hickory Loop has a central bathhouse that is a short walk from your campsite. The bathhouse has separate mens' and womens' sides. Each side has toilets, showers, and sinks. The bathhouse has hot and cold running water.
Every campsite is outfitted with:
While our sites are glamorous, glamping is still a rain or shine camping experience. Our sites provide comfortable convenience for camping in any weather condition, and definitely take the edge off of inclement weather typical of Florida.
Our tents are designed to withstand extreme weather conditions, and they stay dry in even the heaviest of rains. We do not make exceptions to our cancellation or rescheduling policy for weather concerns, unless the campground is mandatorily closed (usually associated with a hurricane).
If you are new to camping, please take a look at the forecast 10 days before your trip, and then in the days leading up to it. We allow rescheduling up until 7 days prior to your trip in order to allow our guests to review a 10 day weather forecast. A little preparation for your personal comfort can a big difference in your glamping stay.
